The DFW KJ Alliance is comprised of local karaoke jockeys, affiliated karaoke related companies, supporting establishments, local singers, and interested parties.  All KJs in DFW are eligible to join.  Whether you are currently working, working for a company, or looking to work, you are eligible to become a member. 

To become a member of the DFW KJ Alliance:

1)  Each potential member must complete a membership application.  Membership with be approved by vote of the Alliance members in good standing at the earliest convening meeting. 

2)  All members are required to pay membership dues of $20.00 a year or $5.00 a quarter. 

3)  Members must ATTEND meetings to be considered Members in Good Standing.  There are only 4 meetings annually of the DFW KJ Alliance.  Meetings are held once each quarter.  Members must attend meetings to maintain membership status and be available to vote on all Alliance issues.  Members cannot miss more than 2 meetings a year to maintain their Member-In-Good-Standing status.  Members missing more than 2 meetings with unexcused absences must re apply for membership & are responsible for reinstatement dues.  Excused absences include: illness, death of family members, work.  Unexcused absences include: no transportation, no baby sitter, family or friends in town, over slept, outside plans.

4)  All members must pledge and uphold the Official Code of Ethics.

Honorary Members:  Honorary Membership applies to Approved Members not within the DFW Metroplex.  These members must still pledge and sign a membership agreement to uphold the Code of Ethics.  They are not responsible to pay dues or attend meetings.  Honorary Members are not entitled to a standing vote on any Alliance issues.  Honorary Members are listed int eh Alliance Directory, but do not receive a free AD space in the Member Ad area.  Honorary Members may place ads according to size limits in the Affiliation area.  Honorary Members must reapply for membership yearly.

Affiliations:  To be considered as a DFW KJ Alliance Affiliation, you must support the DFW KJ Alliance.  Your company or service must offer an Alliance discount of products and/or services or you must have attended a DFW Alliance quarterly meeting as a quest speaker.

The DFW KJ ALLIANCE has quarterly mixers for the Alliance to meet the public.  Mixers are selected by drawing at the previous quarterly meeting for a regular karaoke show by attending members in good standing.  Our next Night Owl Social Club Mixer will be:

Support your fellow Alliance members by answering the Karaoke SOS call.  Simply visit member's shows that are in danger or slow and bring out some guests with you.  Karaoke SOS calls are only for shows in danger of being lost or dropped.  However, we do encourage everyone to visit member shows on their nights off from time to time too.  When you do, call other members to join you.
